Laughter Yoga: It’s Not an Oxymron!
Would you like to laugh your way to health and well being? Then come to this session, have some fun and learn why laughing is good for your body, mind and soul. Laughter Yoga combines the best of two worlds: the benefits of Yogis breathing, and, exercising the easy way. Experience an increase in oxygen flow, lung capacity and the release of endorphins (the “feel good” body chemicals.) And then there is the strengthening of your immune system, reducing pain, and lowering stress – who doesn’t want that? We will engage in a series of Laughter Yoga exercises, interspersed with information on where it originated, how it works, and why you should engage in it. No special clothing is required, however tight pants are highly discouraged. Warning: you will probably leave this session with an irresistible urge to grin, giggle and guffaw.
